Growing wheatgrass for urban chickens

I am experimenting with growing trays of wheatgrass for my chickens to eat, this was the first tray, and they loved it! I got wheat berries from whole foods, put about two inches of soil in a box, and grew it for a week in the greenhouse. They ate the grains and grass over the course of a day. Definitely something to keep doing!
